I'm sorry that my first post in a while has to be something like this.
I woke up this morning to find one of my baby southern flying squirrels, Honeycomb, had passed away. I noticed that she had started losing fur around her mouth last night and I planned to bring her to the vet when it opened this morning, but by then whatever it was had already taken my poor baby.
If anything, use this as a lesson if you're planning to raise squirrels. If you see anything out of the ordinary, DON'T WAIT! Find an emergency vet.
